DOOM3 HAS BECOME A QUIET OLD GAME BUT STILL DOES EXIST IN GAMERS MIND BECAUSE OF ITS SUPPORT FOR MODIFICATIONS...
MANY EXCELLENT MODIFICATIONS FO DOOM3 ARE REGULARLY RELEASED..
SOME GROUPS HAVE EVEN CREATED HUDE MODIFICATIONS WITH THEIR OWN SEQUEL MAPS..

Was trying to play Doom3 game in PC. What is the minimum system requriement?
My system Configyration is as follows:
1) Core2Duo 2.33 Ghz
2) DGF33 Motherboard 1333 Mhz FSB
3) 2 GB RAM 800 Mhz
4) NVidia GeForce 8600 GT 512 MB GDR2 VRAM
5) XP MediaCentre SP2
6) DirectX 9.0c latest version for XP SP2
a) Doom3 is installing, but when I'm trying to play it, while initializing, it gives an error msg saying something about Open GL and uncompatible graphics card.
Please note, I'm able to play Need for Speed - ProStreet very comfortably.
